The Grande Dixence dam
The Grande Dixence dam, in the canton of Valais in Switzerland, is at 285 metres high one of the worlds tallest dams. It holds back a lake, the Lac de Dix, around 16km long. (source: wikipedia)

correction
this is not the grand dixence. you reckognize the gd by it's linear shape and growing thickness towards the ground. i found it to be located here: http://map.search.ch/pralong?x=200&y=1000
